Short Bio

Andrea Reale is a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of Bologna, Italy. He received a Ph.D. in computer engineering and cum laude M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from the same university in 2014, 2010, and 2008 respectively.
His research interests are mainly focused in the area of large-scale data distribution and processing, with special attention to problems related to the continuous analysis of data streams and to Quality-of-Service agreement and enforcement. In February 2013, he received a 2013-2014 IBM Ph.D. Fellowship award for his work on adaptive fault-tolerance techniques in distributed stream processing systems.
